Dr. Jeff Guidry (Associate Professor, Health) has been asked to serve on the following NIH grant review teams:
1. The National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), invited Dr. Guidry to participate as the CHAIR of a special emphasis panel (SEP) for R13 Scientific Research and Conference Support. The panel will conduct a virtual review (NIH Internet Assisted Review - IAR) of electronically submitted applications requesting support for scientific related conferences.
2. The National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), invited Dr. Guidry to participate on an NCMHD Special Emphasis Panel (SEP). This SEP will be reviewing applications for the NCMHD Endowment Program (S21 and S22). These awards are intended to provide endowment grants to eligible institutions to ultimately build minority health and other health disparities research and training capacity.
3. The National Institute of Health, National Cancer Institute (NCI) invited Dr. Guidry to participate in the 'Minority Institutions/Cancer Centers' review, RFA-CA-07-045 (U54s and P20s). These grants are under the ZCA1 SRRB-Y 01 B, Comprehensive Minority Institution Cancer Center Partnership program.
