With a comprehensive record of research initiatives, Dr. Linda Castillo brings her passion for research, specifically in the reduction of educational, mental health and health disparities of Mexican Americans, to her new role as Associate Dean for Research in the College of Education and Human Development. Castillo, who is an associate professor of counseling psychology in the Department of Educational Psychology, is a licensed psychologist and a fellow of the Mexican American and U.S. Latino Research Center. She will be responsible for managing the college's research office and promoting and enhancing extramural funding initiatives.
