Certificates

Effective April 1, 2009, the State Board of Educator Certification will no longer send students a copy of their certificate. Educators will have to view their certificates on the SBEC Web site at www.sbec.state.tx.us. To view your certificate, click the link “Official Record of Educator Certificates.”

Certificate Renewal

Effective April 1, 2009, educators who hold a standard certificate will receive their renewal reminder via e-mail six months prior to the certificate expiration date. It is extremely important for students to keep their SBEC personal profile updated with their current address and e-mail.
