Doctoral Annual Review eTool

The college online Doctoral Review site was launched during the spring 2007 semester. The purpose of this site is to facilitate an annual review of all doctoral students in the college to help committee members determine whether their students are making adequate progress in their degree program.

The current site contains four main sections.

  • Summary page showing general progress toward a degree (including committee membership, credit hours by semester, key dates)
  • Degree plan showing current degree plan file with OGS as well as the courses that have been applied. The page also provides a listing of the TAMU courses taken by the student by semester.
  • Student Portfolio. The portfolio provides an opportunity for students to document their scholarly achievements within different categories. The categories available will be expanded in the future as needs arise.
  • Annual Review. This is where faculty input comments and final disposition of the annual review as either adequate or inadequate progress.
