ETS Testing Dates and Information

Beginning August 11, 2008, the fee for both the PBT (paper-based test) and the CAT (computer-administered test) will be $120. The $35 CAT surcharge will be eliminated.The late registration fee is $35 and the emergency registration fee is $75.

  • Testing for the new CAT exams, PE EC-12, History 8-12, English as a Second Language Supplemental, Math 8-12, began on September 4, 2007.
  • The new Call Center/Customer Service phone number for ETS is 1-800-205-2626. 
  • Students with disabilities will be able to request nonstandard testing accommodations for all tests offered via computer.  Procedures, forms and contact information are available on the ETS Web site under "Alternative Testing Arrangements."
  • Students taking the Texas Oral Proficiency Tests will be able to schedule their appointment times when registering online at the ETS Web site.  
  • Students will no long have to select their "route to certification" when registering online.
  • Beginning September 1, 2007, computer tests will be offered at test centers in Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City, Mexico and in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. 
  • Beginning September 1, 2007, computer-administered tests will be available in the following US cities:  Arkadelphia, Fayetteville, and Jonesboro, Arkansas; Monroe and New Orleans, Louisiana; Albuquerque and Roswell, New Mexico; and Oklahoma City and Stillwater, Oklahoma.
