Specialty areas include gifted and talented; reading, math and science; bilingual/multicultural education; educational technology; career development education; special education; health education and safety education. Professionals in the higher education environment will find programs in teaching, administration, student affairs administration, research measurement and statistics, adult learning, sport management and sports pedagogy. Specialized programs that prepare professionals to work in unique fields include: adult literacy, distance learning, counseling psychology, exercise physiology, cardiac rehabilitation and motor learning.
