Amanda Mather, Chair Amanda Mather is an academic advisor in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture, and has been in the college since 2004. She previously worked as a program assistant in the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology programs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and needlework. She is an avid railfan, as well as a certified professional photographer. She lives with her husband Thomas and two dogs, Pudge and Casey. |

Amber Hopkins, Chair-Elect Amber Hopkins is an administrative assistant in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture. She works for the Education Research Center and she assists with the new online doctorate in curriculum and instruction. |

Jill Hobbs, Past Chair Jill Hobbs has been a business coordinator I in the Dean's Office since February 2006, after graduating magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a communications degree and business minor. As a business coordinator she handles the bi-weekly payroll for the college, as well as other payroll concerns and human resource issues. Her hobbies include playing tennis and softball, watching sports, hanging out with her family, and spending time with her two nieces. |

Esther Ewert, Graphic Designer, Dean's Office Representative through 08/2011 802A Harrington Tower (979) 845-6250 ewerte@tamu.edu As the resident graphics designer for the college since 2007, Esther takes care of all graphics needs and marketing pieces for each department and the college. Esther graduated with a bachelor's in graphic design from John Brown University in Arkansas. A native of Houston, Texas, Esther also enjoys photography and painting in her spare time. |

She has worked in the department since October 2006. Kristie moved to Texas with her husband from Georgia. She has a B.A. from Clemson University and a M.S. from Florida State University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in human resource development and balancing the challenges of being a student and a staff member. |
