Health Professor Receives Distinguished Service and Research Award

Dr. Ranjita Misra (Associate Professor, HLTH), received the "Distinguished Service and Research Award" from the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) on May 12 in Philadelphia. She was also interviewed by Sahara One, a national media entertainment for Asian Indians in the United States. The interview was for their "Community Forum", she spoke on high prevalence of diabetes, risk factors, prevention as well as an intervention project she and her colleagues are conducting in Gujurat, India.
