Research
In a partnership with HLKN and the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, four nutrition interns from Mexico will be spending the next seven weeks studying with Dr. Stephen Crouse, Dr. Ranjita Misra, and Dr. Steven Riechman in their labs. This extra academic experience will expose the students to research in the Department and provide them practical and relevant experience that they can take back to Mexico. Melisa Sousa and Chantal Treviño are studying with Dr. Crouse, Marcela Torres is studying with Dr. Misra, and Azalea Santos is studying with Dr. Riechman. This summer marks the first year for this new program. Photo caption: Dr. Crouse (left) leads the orientation meeting with the nutrition students and Drs.
