SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A POWER CONSULTANT

Before Your Appointment:

Please review the introductory information and materials on this Web site. The information will tell you WHAT TO EXPECT during the appointment.

Scheduling Your Appointment:

  1. Your appointment must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  2. You will be able to schedule your appointment, online, using the link provided below.
  3. Appointments are blocked in 30-minute slots. If you think you need more than 30 minutes with a consultant, schedule 2 appointments, back-to-back with the same person.
  4. You are limited to two 30-minute appointments per week.
  5. Please note that appointment locations may vary depending on POWER consultant availability.
  6. Scheduled 30-minute appointments will take place as designated, unless cancelled by telephone or e-mail.
  7. You should receive confirmation of your appointment within 24-48 hours of scheduling.
  8. On the date of your appointment, please bring a hard copy or an electronic copy of the writing project for which you desire feedback. These might include manuscripts, research papers, and other formal writing pieces.

After Your Appointment:

  1. You will receive an e-mail, asking you to rate your experience with your last appointment. You will receive a link that leads to 4-5 simple questions. We ask that you help us improve our services, by providing this simple feedback. It should take only 1-2 minutes to answer the questions.
  2. Review the feedback that you received from your POWER consultant.
  3. If you have ongoing questions about the feedback, please schedule additional appointments.
  4. Incorporate the feedback into your written product.
  5. Continue to practice POWER-style writing on a consistent basis.
  6. Have fun!

If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact your POWER consultant via telephone or e-mail at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
