Request a Course

In distance education courses, learners are separated by location and/or time.  At Texas A&M University, distance education is delivered online or via video.  In order to set up a distance education course, follow the following steps

  1. Determine if the course will be delivered online using a learning management system (e.g. Blackboard or Moodle) or via video.
  2. Get course approved by Office of Distance Education. Complete and submit the appropriate approval form.
  3. Notify department/office responsible for distance learning in the medium in which you plan to deliver your course.
    1. Video - Schedule course with TTVN.
    2. Online using Moodle - Submit form to Instructional Technology Services in College of Education and Human Development.
    3. Online using WebCT/Blackboard - Request a section from Instructional Technology Services for the University.
