System Administration

The systems administration group is responsible for the infra-structure of the college.  This includes the following activities
  • Maintianing the college servers
  • Administering the college databases
  • Web application development
  • Providing guidance for security issues, and
  • Providing server support for grants
  • Updates for software
  • Resolving problems with current machines
  • New and renewal of student accounts
  • Email and Exchange support

     
  • Arlen-Strader is responsible for overseeing the college's servers, information security, and the college's databases. Arelen also contributes time to numerous grant projects and enjoys web development projects.
  • Ben Kim administers the college's databases, develops applications associated with the CEHD Data Portal, and works on web development projects on external grants.
  • Jonathan Hall administers the college servers with emphasis on security, hardware, and backup procedures. He also works on various web development projects. Jonathan also has expert knowledge regarding the installation and operation fo high-end audio-visual equipment.
